Good questions
Can we legally elope in Ireland?+
Yes. You need to give the Registrar at least three months' notice, and you can be married almost anywhere in the country. I'll point you at the paperwork, then we can talk about where it happens.
What happens if it rains?+
We get the good photographs. Every elopement is planned with a wet-weather alternative nearby — a cave, a covered ruin, or a pub with a fire and a good pint.
Can we bring a few people with us?+
Of course. A handful of people or twenty of them. It changes the shape of the day, not the way I photograph it.
Do you travel outside Cork and Kerry?+
Always. Most elopements are West Cork, Killarney, Dingle and Kenmare, but I'll go wherever the story is. Travel outside Munster is charged on top.
How far ahead should we book?+
Six to twelve months is comfortable for an elopement, longer for a bank holiday weekend. 2026 and 2027 are fully booked — 2028 dates are open now.
