Couple on the headland at Three Castle Head, West Cork

Couple sessions · the Wild Atlantic Way

No vows required

Ninety minutes on a cliff, four hours on an adventure — the same instinct, without the ceremony.

Who this is for

You don’t need an occasion.

A couple session is the same thing I do at an elopement, minus the paperwork: we pick a wild bit of coastline or a quiet valley, walk, talk rubbish, and somewhere in the middle of it I take the photographs you actually want of yourselves.

No awkward posing. I’ll tell you where to stand when it matters and then leave you to it. Most couples say it felt like a walk with a friend who happened to have a camera.

  • Engaged, and nowhere near planning a big day yet
  • Married years ago, with no photographs you actually like
  • Over on holiday from abroad, and want more than a selfie
  • Two people who just fancy a walk on a cliff at sunset

The golden hour

Ninety minutes, one wild location, the last of the light falling on the sea.

Half-day adventure

Four hours at the same pace as an elopement — cliffs, forest, a scenic drive and a pint at the end of it.

Vacation shoot

Already over from abroad? A morning on the coast, with the whole family in it.

Elopements · the Wild Atlantic Way

Full of notions… in a Wuthering Heights kind of way.

For wild ones, history lovers and romantics. West Cork, Killarney, Dingle and Kenmare — roaring seas, ruined stone and winds that steal your breath away.
